Workshop 11 – User Interface Design and Agile

Pair Design: Warm upIMG_20150525_095936

This is just a quick, 5 minute exercise to get things going. Working in pairs, you’re going to draw a picture on a post-it note. Person 1 is to draw a shape, followed by person 2 and so on until you have a picture drawn (or you think you’re done).

Pair Design

Pair design works by having two people work together to create a design solution.
Each person in the pair has a designated role – Cooper refers to them as the Generator and the Synthesisor, but they’re also called things such as Driver and Navigator.
• In a post-apocalyptic world, zombies are a real issue. Design a scanner that you can easily use to detect zombies around you, and to confirm if someone is a zombie.

• Design a foolproof (yet simple) entry system to implement coded entry for students to access computer labs.
